Matthew Vuckovich, the #SurgeonAgent, began his career as a Major League Baseball sports agent and spent the better part of a decade signing 1st Round Draft Picks, negotiating multimillion dollar deals, and helping clients navigate the business world. Fast forward to the present day, Matthew shifted his efforts to the medical arena to help fill the void in providing the basics of business fundamentals to the next generation of Physicians.

Matthew has presented to over 50 Residency & Fellowship programs across the country on important topics such as, “Navigating the Job Market, Physician Disability & Life Insurance, Physician Contracts 101, and Transitioning to Practice.” Due to the need for broader business knowledge for Physicians, Matthew is a frequent speaker at numerous National society annual conferences.

Matthew’s podcast, Interview With The Surgeon, features over 100 interviews from Program Chairs, Directors, Private Practice Physicians, to well-known Healthcare Executives and top Healthcare Attorneys. These interviews provide insight into the business side of medicine from all different perspectives. His podcast acts as a guide for Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows as they look to transition into the professional world. This nationally recognized podcast has been featured in numerous healthcare publications.
